For aquarium care firms · luxury hotels
The lobby display guests photograph, and the record behind it.
Hotel aquarium maintenance happens while the lobby is quiet: before guests come down, after the bar closes. Frescalo is built to keep every visit, reading and observation on one record, so the general manager can see what your team did for the display everyone stops to photograph.

What a hotel asks of your firm
Four pressures that come with a hotel lobby.
-
Visits that fit the lobby’s quiet hours
Your team works before guests come down or after the bar closes, often with only the night porter about. The work has to be finished, the cabinet shut and the floor dry before the lobby fills.
On the record Each visit with its start and finish, who did it and what was done.
-
A display photographed every evening
Guests film it, post it and judge the hotel by it. A cloudy pane or a pale coral is seen by hundreds of people before anyone at the hotel mentions it.
On the record The water change, the glass, readings against the range you set, and photos from the visit.
-
A general manager who answers for it
The general manager signs the contract and hears the complaints. What they need from your company is a short, clear account of the display’s month, not a folder of test results.
On the record The Stewardship Report, under your company’s name, whenever you choose to send it.
-
Calls from the front desk at night
When a pump stops at two in the morning, the night manager calls you. What was reported, who went, what was changed and when it was closed belongs on the same record as the routine visits.
On the record The incident from the first call to its closure, with its severity.
The guest’s photo
Every part of the picture has a line in the record.
At 19:00 a guest raises a phone to the lobby display. What they frame — clear water, coral colour, the fish, the light — is what your team kept that way at Tuesday’s visit, and each part of it is written down.

Built for hotel work
What Frescalo is built to do for a hotel display.
- Keep LR-01 on the register with its life support: the sump, protein skimmer, return pump, heater, lighting, top-off and dosing.
- Log each early visit as an aquarium husbandry record: water change, glass, filter socks, top-off, and the fish, corals and invertebrates looked over.
- Draw each reading against the target range you set, and flag one outside it as it is entered.
- Follow an incident from the night manager’s call to its closure.
- Send the general manager a Stewardship Report in your company’s name, when asked, whenever you decide or on a timetable you set.
- Plan the weekly visits around the lobby’s quiet hours on the Visit Calendar.
Readings are the ones your team takes and enters at the visit. Frescalo doesn’t connect to controllers or probes.
Where the work sits
At a hotel, your systems sit all through the building.
Most hotel contracts cover more than one display. Each place below can be a system of its own on the client’s register, with its own visits and its own readings.
- The lobby display
- The lounge bar’s display
- A living wall facing reception
- The spa’s freshwater display
- A courtyard koi pond
- The plant room behind the cabinet
